how to request interest only

Hi,

Can anyone advise what way you approach your bank about going interest only? I sent a letter into my bank UB over a month ago and still have not got any response.

Should you request this over the phone or in wirting? How long does it normally take them to get back to you?

I would check if they got it. This request normally requires a face to face meeting with their advisor to go through your income and expenditure information, a letter requesting it will not do unless you gave tons of information in it regarding your present situation and even then I am sure they would be back to you with queries.
