How to keep tv shows

Hi,
I have NTL Chorus digital. I wish to able to record and keep Rachel Allen's Home Cooking tv series. I can also find her programmes on RTE Player but they are only available for broadcast until a certain date in the future. What should I do to be able to keep for future reference her cookery tv programmes? Thanks.

Use video tapes if you have a vhs recorder, or recordable DVDs if you have a DVD recorder. I'm sure some computer literate person will be able to tell you how to store them on a hard drive.

I know this is probably not a solution as you have NTL but get sky plus instead. I have all her programmes recorded, never miss and episode as I have the series linked and they are all stored in my planner. Only take up 1% so I am sure you can keep them on it.

You can get the equivalent of Sky+ with NTL digital for about €5 extra a month. Well worth it!

Are you sure the RTE player allows downloading?
