Health Insurance How to find out who I had Health Insurance with (many years ago!!)

Hi folks,

I don't have health insurance at the moment and haven't had any for quite some time. I definitely did have it at some stage though. Could be 10/15 years ago and not for very long. I am not sure where I worked at the time, I am pretty sure it came out at source. Is there any way for me to find out? Myself and my husband are looking to get Health Insurance now and I know I will avoid a loading having had it at some stage. It was one of those thing were it was part of the package and partly paid for by the company I think but I have had several jobs over the years...

Any help appreciated.
 
Your best bet is to contact the health insurance companies, especially VHI taking the 10/15 years into account, and see if they have anything on record for you. If not it will probably be a process of elimination.

If that fails it sounds as if you will probably have to check back with your previous employers.
