How much does empty gas cylinder weigh?

I have a Webber BBQ which uses a 11KG Calor patio gas cylinder. I am not too sure how far away it from being empty. The info on the barrel just says 11KG (when full, I presume) but I wish I knew how much it will be when empty.

I'd hate for it to run out of gas in the middle of a BBQ when I have a a few beers inside me and therefore unable to drive to get a replacement!!!! If I thought it is currently almost empty, then I'd replace it tomorrow.

Why not go to your local supplier and blag a spare bottle paying for the gas without having to pay the bottle deposit? That's what we did and usually if you are a good customer of the store/garage they will go along with you knowing you will be a return customer.
