Deeds storage (e.g. https://www.deeds.ie/) costs 40 euro per year, but it will also be some admin hassle to setup etc.,

Can I leave say a 200 euro balance on my mortgage, and have it paid off at the original term to benefit from the deeds storage?

I think I remeber someone saying that if the mortgage goes below some amount it will automatically be closed?

I thought that most title deeds could more easily and more cost effectively be reconstituted these days than in the past so that paying for safe keeping wasn't so much of a necessity?
