how long to get tital deeds from bank

Have agreed to sell property and authorised solicitor to obtain tital deeds 1 month ago. She has still not received them and says that this is not an unusual length of time. Auctioneer pressing me to push her and speed it up. He's worried about losing the buyer. Is this an excessive length of time to wait and can she speed it up? She says she cannot do much. Thanks in advance.

It does normally take some weeks. She can ring them at least three times a day to insist on a definitite date your deeds will be sent. You can do the same. Make yourselves a nuisance.
