I hope Im posting in the correct thread.

I recently changed from ESB to Bord Gais for my electric supply.
However i didnt realise that my account was due to be credited for the set-up fee €300 as i was not paying DD.
Long story short.
I was told to ring back on 13 Nov with a meter reading to re-connect-
Will my account still be credited ??

Do you mean your account was due to be debited ?? Or are they paying you this amount to move to them.
 
This is a charge for decidign not to pay by DD. They do nto tell you this in the tv adverts. All new customers have to pay this. It is refunded after 18 months I thought so you are doing well to get it early if nto paying by DD.

I understand all that..
I have cancelled my account with Bord Gais but ESB say i have to wait 20 days after the cancellation to re-actaiveate my account with them.
If there is a 1-2 day delay from my final bill say Nov 10 to the date i re-sign with ESB say Nov 12. Would i still have power.

I no they take an estitamte reading so i should be ok correct ???
