Mrs K was stranded in Jersey when the airline cacelled flights because of the volcano. She decided that she missed me so much that she would get the ferry to Poole (great taste the lady has.)
I booked a hotel in Bournemouth about 6 miles from the ferry port so that we had somewhere to stay overnight. (The ferry gets in at 21.30)
I can recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a holiday on the south coast of England. We stayed in a family room (1 double and 1 single bed) for a total of £49 including full breakfast
