We have recently made a claim for damage caused by frost to a house we have rented to tenants. The insurers have told us that our policy wording excludes Damage caused directly or indirectly by or consisting of frost. We hadn’t read the policy document (I know, I know, we should have) but we had innocently assumed that all home policies covered frost damage - isn’t that one of the most important reasons to insure? Has anyone had any experience of this?
