What is the best way to achieve this system:

• TV on the wall in the living room
• High spec PC in the office with bru ray, and big external harddrive
• Speakers in the kitchen, maybe other rooms in the house.

So if you want to watch a movie on your TV in the living room, you either download from the internet or rent it on bru ray. You want the PC to play it in its bru ray or the external hard drive, but you want to view it on your TV in the living room. What cables, devices are needed to do this? if you download it to your external hard drive can you control it with a remote from your living room. What kind of system network ideas are there to do this

If you want to listen to the radio in the kitchen (any radio station in the world if you run it from the internet) what do you need if you want to control it from the kitchen ie remote control, speakers in the ceiling, cables needed etc??

What kind of system network ideas are there to do the above, I am building at the moment so I want to put in the cabling to future proof, i.e Cat6e, speaker cable, don't want to go the route of wireless.

Any tech buffs out there advice appreciated
