High Court summons for a Revenue debt. Likely outcome, what are my options?

I have received a High Court summons for a Revenue debt and was hoping to find out what likely outcome is and what my options are.

Just as a matter of interest, how much is outstanding and what was the debt incurred on?

Did they give you much notice?

I was given a rebate in error which I then used to pay off debt and they have come back looking for it. I have told them it is their fault but they don't see it as such.

They can't get blood from a stone so I am not sure what they want from me but, while not accepting my point, they have quietened down.
