can anyone suggest anything!! or know where i can get money!!! i dont even care what the interest rate is.....
i am up the walls and cannot sleep!

thanks for any advice

Yep - there are Money Lenders (think they are called Maste Credit), beside or a few doors away from the Olympia Theatre on Dame Street. As far as I know they give the kind of loans you are seeking , as long as you have a valid Bankers Card, ID etc, but the Interest Rate is huge. Or alternatively if you have any valuables bring them to a Pawnbrokers.

oh please try and not get into something horrible just because you are panicking.

huge interest rates etc may mean that come next month you'll be worse off.

really hope it works out for ou.

is there not a close friend or family member that you could approach and explain the situation to and see if they could help out for the month?

Thanks for your reply.....i do have 2 close friends but to honest i do not think they will have it...and i have never borrowed from any friends in my life to date.. so can't bring myself to ask them!and really dont think they have it!!
if i get money from a money lender i can pay it back from end of next month...there will be two wages in the household then!!

Some companies will accept a payment against the balance - ESB do - you should check - and reduce the amount you have to borrow from a high interest source.
Depends really on what bills you have to pay.

Hi
Just be sure to pay back as fast as you earthly can (i.e. the very second that you get paid), if you do chose to use a moneylender..
"the total cost of credit to the consumer under the agreement is in excess of an APR of 23 per cent., or such other rate as may be prescribed" (from IFSRA [broken link removed] )
i.e. huge interest rates, so be very careful, you don't want to get into unmanageable debt, which could happen very quickly if you have to start paying back interest at that rate.
Interest of 25% for €2,500 is €625 and the amount that you owe would just get bigger and bigger. Smarter people than me would be able to tell you what that means over time (e.g. if you didn't pay back the whole amount immediately), but it would be big.
So hopefully you'll get out of this hole, but mind yourself and don't end up in a bigger one,
Best of luck,
Nicola

There is an organisation called MABS that can help restucture loans etc for people in situations like you. They are in most major towns and have experienced staff. Avoid moneylenders if you can.

You'd rather go to a money lender than your friends?

So your going to have a money lender loan plus your last months bank loan?

You need to be looking at why your in this position.

yes hard to believe but yes!!! i dont like anyone knowing my bad financial situation....i know why i am in this situation...and i could not prevent it..these things happen!!!! but a first and last time for me,

You'll only be in a worse situation if you get involved with money lenders.

Confide in a friend and MABS (as above).

Best of luck.

Approach the people you owe money to and explain that you are in difficulty this month, but the situation is about to change. Unless you've been lax in your previous payments I am sure they may cut you some slack. It's in the interests of the bank, for instance, that you can afford to make your mortgage payment. A moneylender or any other high interest option should be a last resort.
