Health insurance BIK confusion

My company pay my health insurance at €2,400 per year for me and my family, I signed up to the policy in March this year. On my May payslip I had a BIK of €349 added, nothing added in June and now In July is see €274. I am in the high tax bracket and was wondering what I should be seeing monthly come out (or added to my total salary) as BIK? I am paid every 4 weeks, should it not be 2400/13 per month?

What is the gross premium on your policy documents?
The BIK should be the gross premium divided by 12 months.
Note that you can also claim some tax relief/credit on the premium paid by your employer - but you don't get this automatically.

You should ask Payroll to explain,
A few things may have happened. THey may pay it monthly , and as you are paid every 4 weeks, there could be a lag betweeen the monthly payments and your pay slip which may explain the gap and the different amounts.

As one other potential explanation, some insurance companies, have issued premium waivers. These can take time to work their way through payroll systems.
