Having issues trying to pay a customs charge online.

I have a small customs charge to pay.
Every time, I go through the whole palaver, all details are correct and so forth. And every time after starting to apparently process the payment, it rejects right at the end, saying unable to process try again.

This is on the An Post website. I can pay at a post office, I gather, but online would be so much handier.
Has anyone experienced this?
 
are you sure it is a legitimate custom charge and not a scam?. I get some many scam texts on "custom charges" etc that I tend to ignore them. It's potentially your card provider/bank blocking the payment for that very reason.
 
No, it's the real thing alright.
Got sorted eventually by using a different browser, and the delivery arrived bright and early this morning. An Post gave me an email address to send on a screenshot of the error message, and they will have a look at the cause of the error.
