We are "accidental landlords" we tried to sell our house but could not. We had to move due to work relocation so we have rented out our house.

The back boiler in the sitting room fireplace has reached its sell by date and has to be replaced in the rental property. When we rang looking for prices to replace the back boiler two people suggested fitting a stove. This is something that we had intended to do if we had remained in the house but now that its a rental property we are unsure if the additional cost is worth it. Would adding a stove add value to the property..if we ever manage to sell it? Money is very tight at the moment so we have to think carefully before making a decision.

Any advice appreciated.

Not really and you would need to spend quite a penny to get a stove capable of heating the water and rads, they are super and I would not be without it but in a rental when funds are tight well I would pass on the idea.
