Good place for breakfast between Shannon Airport and Galway?

Re: Shannon Airport

It might be the [broken link removed] restaurant in the Lady Gregory Hotel?

There's a list of restaurants in Co. Galway [broken link removed], if it's any help...

Re: Shannon Airport

Think the place in Gort is called O Gradys. On the corner. Very good

Yes O'Gradys in Gort is very good. It on the left on the square as you pass through.

I had breakfast here once and never again. I had a long wait for it and when it arrived everything on the plate was covered in grease. The food was terrible, The best place for breakfast or dinner is the Lady Gregory hotel as you come into gort it's on you're left coming from shannon on the outskirts of the town

How about the airport itself? The restaurant there (upstairs) is pretty good.

How about stopping in Ennis? There are a lot of nice cafes and hotels there. It is a lovely town.

yeah, plenty of good grub in Ennis. If you want a good fry though, there's a little place called "the thatch" or something like that accross the road from McDonnells outside Shannon town Center. It does good pizzas too apparently.

Yeah was there before also, very nice place to stop off for a full irish.

try THE BARGE ROOMS on right after last roundabout coming from Galway opens earley

There is the Ballyline Inn between Barefield and Crusheen (about 10 km north of Ennis), or else Mother Hubbards which is in Kilternan (??) close to Ardrahan. Both do good portions of good food.

Kilgolgan! Not Kilternan. It is good alright though.

How about Claires Tea Rooms in Clarinbridge - really really nice, home made stuff and inexpensive. Near Galway city though, you might want someone closer to airport if starving...
