God-daughter 1st birthday present

Any ideas on a present to get my god-daughter for her first birthday? Something a bit more special than an outfit or a toy would be needed I thought?

So in the end I picked a Nao by Lladro Cosy Dreams porcelain figure as a keepsake. Plus I got a cute dress for her.

For special presents for godchildren etc I go to a lady called Tara in leopardstown. She makes kids furniture - i think the chairs are €50/€60 but she'll paint them anyway/colour/theme you want.

I have no connection to her other than a satisifed customer. A friend recommended her to me and I just love the stuff she does. She works from home - don't know if there's a company name. I just have her number and she then emailed me examples of what she does - haven't gotten anything since nov 09 so don't know if she's still doing it but no reason why not.
