sorry for this i have searched but i cannot find anyinfo on this topic.
about 3 years ago i had a load with GE. i have since defaulted on the loan and they have sold the debt to another company. I have been paying this loan as quickly as i can but somethin dawned on me the other day.
when i got the loan at first i agreed to the excess for the payment protection insurance. now i cannot get in touc with GE and the debt company say they know nothing about this.
I am just wondering if i am paying for somethin that i can sort out with my origional insurance. Things are really tight at the moment as they are with every one, but if i payed for it int the start am i not entitled to some sort of help from them?

P.S all the numbers i have got for GE and any contact methods i can find have yielded no response from them what so ever.
