electric anyday over gas...i think gas is dirty...had gas before, electric now way cleaner, especially as regards the hob, pots clean..no soot or marks, electric hob easier to clean, wipe of a cloth..gas way harder...grills to remove to clean up spills. if you want go for a gas oven/electric hob (halogen or induction are brilliant)
