Gas cylinder

Hi,
I have an (empty) gas cylinder that I want to get rid of/recycle.
Does anyone know where I could preferably recycle this?

I presume that any local shop that sells bottled gas will take it even if you're not buying a new full one.

Sell it. Suppliers charge a hefty premium if you buy gas without an empty for refilling.

Assuming it's of a type that's still usable, I'm sure anyone who owns a patio heater or gas barbeque (depending on what type of cylinder it is) would gladly take it off your hands.

An initial purchase of bottled gas is more expensive than a refill so to give it to someone else would either reduce their initial outlay or allow them to carry a spare full cylinder for no extra cost.

You an also pick up an empty one there.

If you contact the dealer i.e Flogas, Calor, etc, they may pay you for it.
