hi folks

getting a new garage door put in just looking for advice/recommendations.

I have a quote for €1400 standard with a pass door????

can anyone advise of any experiences with this? or any other installers jsut to get a few prices thanks

Sounds a bit steep to me. What sort of garage door - up and over in metal or wooden?

its a metal door ,with a pass door in it and also come's with PVC windows

You might not like it, but I got a wooden door put in, in three sections, which meant that the whole door could be opened up if necessary (3 sections slide together), or only 1 door when kiddies want to put bikes in. Not an expensive solution - needs framework and the three sliding sections, and maybe a bit of maintenance every 5 years of so, but works really well.
