V quiet and nice area with v good resale on houses. Close to everything as well, pub nearb and chinese restaurant , not to mention secondary and primary school.

Moved to a house nearby last year and love the area. Extremely quiet, yet just off two main roads. Very settled, mature population but a good few younger families moving in and refurbishing. The houses are early 20th Century, I think.Three miles on a straight road into town. Plenty of small local shops, and Omni is a 15 minute walk, Drumcondra about the same.

It's a lovely area. I agree with the other posters. You'll more than likely get a much better property here for 600,000 than you would in an area three miles south of the Liffey.
