Furniture or electrical sales on in Dublin?

Anyone know of any big furniture shops with sales on shortly in Dublin?
Looking for lounge and bedroom furniture.
Also, sales/best value for cookers, freezers, washing machines etc?
 
Reids have a buy one get one free sale on at the minute, but to be honest I'm holding out until January when I imagine there'll be a lot of knock down prices. You should think about doing the same if you can wait.

One thing I've been told about the January sales is that a number of places hold the stuff for you for up to 6 months, so even if you're not ready to move in there and then, it could still suit you. Obviously, not all outlets do this, but worth asking.

based on advice from this site, I used Hardys of Kilkeel to fit out our kitchen with applicances. They were 20% cheaper on average than their Dublin equivalents. It'll be a bit more now that the UK VAT rate has gone down.

I went to the shops here to pick out the items I wanted, got the product reference codes and then ordered over the phone. I think the delivery was GBP50 to Dublin.

The service was excellent.

Thanks for the replies. Will probably hold off on sofas etc til the January sales. Electrical stuff needed now tho.
