Friends going travelling, leaving party ideas?

Hi all,

Hope i've this in the right place!

I've three friends heading off to Austrailia in a few weeks, we're (approx 20 of us) going to Westport soon for a big get together. We've got funny t shirts made for them to wear but has anyone any other ideas of stuff to do or get them to do? We want it to be memorable!

I'd appreciate any ideas because i can't come up with anything!

get them to wear australian style hats with corks dangling down?

theme the whole evening australian style - have a BBQ?
