Received the following unsolicited mail today in my inbox. Anybody heard of this crew before? I know there is no such thing as a free lunch. Am I correct in assuming it's just another hard sell property training outfit?

4) Investment Property Exhibition

Location: CityWest Hotel and Conference Centre, Dublin
Cost: Euro 15 per person ( FREE ENTRY for PIN members)

I have been asked to speak again at this 3 day property show from, at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin. This is a big exhibition with over 65 exhibitors and lots of free educational seminars.

Entry will be Euro 15 per person, however, next month we will be giving away FREE tickets to all of our registered website members. Next month we will send out details to tell you how you can get your free tickets.

That'd be my hunch, too... ;)

What was that big hoo-hah a few months back about the property crowd that rented out the RDS and 'nobody came'?
 
Yes its happened....just what I've been looking for...I've news for all my fellow posters on AAM......I'm "..gonna give up work & become a Property Millionaire instead"....... 'cause "its my turn to get rich"....

...well alright I wont run away with myself yet but I got a Free invitation to a seminarin the post today to "an opportunity to change my life"...its from an English outfit called Inside Track....insidetrack.co.uk......

anyone else get one...or is it exclusively for moi!

I saw Simon Zutshi at a Property exhibition at Citywest last October. The information was fairly general. I didn't exactly learn anything which I didn't know already. A lot of it is common sense as far as I am concerned. These type of seminars are probably more intersting when members of the audience ask questions and contribute themselves.

At the end of the day none of these guys providing these seminars are doing it because they are on a crusade to make amateur investers in little old Ireland rich. There're out to make abuck for themselves.

The prices this guy charges for some of the seminars is only €50 or so, so he may be just recovering his hotel and travel expenses. He's probably making his money on commision on property he recommends/sells to you. Perhaps he has more advanced courses/seminars which are very expensive.

He's not a bad speaker though, he would hold your attention for an hour or so.

you could build a million dollar portfolio in 6 weeks if the banks would give you the loan...i got something similarin the door the other day as well for the Cork area but this crowd introduce you to proprties that they think will make money and if you buy you pay them a fee.i think not
 
What's sad is that there must be suckers out there who are willing to hand over cash to these guys!
