my hubby was a sole contractor who has for the past 3 years worked as a PAYE worker, as contracting roles have not been available. So last year he wound up the company with revenue.
In the past 3 years, we've been jointly assessed (both PAYE workers), using the formm 11 to file for any tax back from medical expenses etc....
My question is that as the company was wound up in early 2009, do we need to file a 2009 form 11, or can we now use ROS to post for medical, educational refunds?
Normally I'd just call Revenue and ask, but with the industrial action they haven't answered the phone for the past few weeks.
thanks.

If your husband was a company director he is treated as having self-employed income in 2009 and must file the Form 11.
