hi folks just wondering what this is?

I see the wording flat rate expenses of 20 on my online revenue details what is this?

Flat rate expenses or Schedule E expenses replace what were (in the old days) allowable expenses for tools of the trade. If for example a nurse you submitted uniform/laundry costs etc. That is no longer the case and a flat rate is allowed based on your trade or profession.

Can't locate a year but they are definitely around a long time, I'd say the best part of 20 years.
