Hello folks. I'm looking for a recommdation please for a financial advisor, preferably in North Dublin / Dublin 9 area. I've had a look at the discount brokers thread but I'd rather sit down with someone face to face. We have a few issues to sort out - my husband is now freelance but has money sitting in a pension fund from his last staff job. We need advice on how to invest it in a personal pension. Also we have one child and I want to set up a life assurance policy in his name.

I cannot give you any recommendations, but would strongly urge you not to restrict your searching to any specific area.

In todays climate, a good financial advisor will travel to meet a client.
