Fan oven not heating, element gone do you think?

Hi,
I have searched the forum a bit, but don't see anything about my make of oven. It is an Ariston single fan oven under the countertop hob.

The fan is working, the grill is working but the oven is not heating up at all.

I suppose I won't know until a repair person comes out, but is it more likely to be the element or the thermostat? Is either expensive to repair?

The oven has been in place with not a bother for 12 years. Maybe time to get a new one!

But it is integrated with the worktop, and if I have to get a new one, I hope I get one to fit!!

Thanks if you have any ideas.
 
Yep, Bank Holiday weekend, and everything goes!

Googled "cooking without an oven" for a laugh, and my mouth is watering.

Anyway, I wouldn't be allowed near a bulb to change it, as I am a disaster zone at diy. So I saw a name in the local mag for appliance repairs and will give him a ring on Tuesday. He says no call out charge if the item is repaired, so that is good.

Will let you know eventually. Hob top cooking for now.
