Has anybody used Global Home Improvements for this job ? They certainly are expensive , but they completely remove the old stuff instead of just putting the new over the old like some companies ?

Got a price from several companies including Global, went for a company called A Hill Fascia & Soffit in the end and was delighted with the job and price. Removing all the timber is a bit like using a sledge hammer to crack a nut IMHO. As long as any rotten or damaged timber is removed and replaced first and adequate venting is installed there is no need to spend up to 3 grand extra.
Ps the company I used would have removed all the timber if I had wanted and would still have been much cheaper than Global who still seem to think it's 2007 and are charging accordingly!!!
