Explanation of "Statutory Interpretation"

I would be grateful if anyone could define the above and give clear definitions of The Literal Rule, The Golden Rule, and The Mischief Rule.

I have to do an essay and include the above, I have looked up some web meanings and the wording is not very clear, I have an idea but am finding it hard to translate it into my own words.

If there is anyone that can explain them in easy english terms so that I can translate them into my own words that would be great.

Go to your college library and pick out either (or both) Casey Constitutional Law in Irl or Kelly The Irish Constitution.
