Another brilliant performance from the Irish boxers in this year’s European Boxing Championship. Two gold medals won by John Joe Nevin and Jason Quigley and two silver medals won by Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan. Barnes was unable to contest his final due to a broken nose and Conlan was beaten by the excellent Welsh boxer Andrew Selby. Well done lads!!
