They generally provide for the notice period, often 6 months.

If you were hoping for a 14-day cooling off period as with distance sales, then no, that legislation does not apply.

Interesting, I don't have such a clause in the contracts that I signed, but then I signed in-person so the distance selling element might not be applicable.
