we stayed for a week self catering in killala, mayo this year, we visited enniscrone twice. Beautiful beach, fantastic indoor pool with water slide (although pool no deep end) have a huge playarea at the back of it. lovely chipper called mary anns for cheap bite eat in day €6 for fish and chip that feeds two adults, huge portion, little kids playarea in front window.
