Howdi,
Can anyone offer a prognosis on the following:
Car running for between 5-10 minutes before all of the engine coolant boils-off under massive pressure back out through the coolant reservoir.
Don't think it is the water pump because that was replaced with the timing belt 20k ago. Not the fan belt as that is still intact, however the fan is not now turning on after the engine is turned off which it used to do if it was running hot. It could be the thermostat which is electric in this model Golf.
P.S. 97 Golf MkIII
Has anyone any similar experiences or any advice they can offer?
