Employer wants to bargain the notice period - advice

Hi there,

My employer is thinking of asking me to give more notice period (i.e. 8 weeks) and in return would like to offer more days of annual leave.
What can happen if I refuse that?
I would like a higher salary or a pension contribution in return, not more holidays.
Any advice on how to approach this would be great.

You can always decline, what happens is hard to say without knowing more.
if you are not to keen on more holidays you can always negotiate for other options: it should be easy enough to put a monetary value on a day holiday and do the maths from there.

I'd love to get more holidays though...
