EBS 2% Cashback

Just wondering if anyone has a view whether the cashback offer will be extended beyond 31/3/18. We have loan offer with EBS but as we're not due to close until end of April I'm wondering will we miss out on this?
 
Also related to this question - does the 2% cashback apply to mortages that are switched from another bank to ebs?

It's most likely it will be extended, on the basis that BoI have already announced theirs is available until end June. No guarantee though, but I can't see them risking market share.
 
Btw, if you're not closing til end of April, you've lots of time to apply elsewhere if you can get a better rate.
