Does the Average AAM user know about these tax reliefs

Absolutely.

There seems to be a widespread suspicion abroad that the self-employed can deduct all sorts of expenses in determining their taxable income that are not available to PAYE employees. This suspicion is then used to justify the continued discriminatory treatment of the self- employed under the tax code. If there is any truth to this suspicion, then I need a new accountant! Of course, those framing the tax code, and the senior politicians signing-off on the provisions, are unlikely ever to be impacted by this discrimination.

This matter is not particularly about the self-employed.

It is rather an example of the benefit of competent tax planning.

Are these figures accurate?
The land is worth €1m but the rental income on the same land is €15k?
The latter figures seems enormous relative to the former.
Where is the land and what is the acreage?

What age is the daughter? If she's 40 or over she won't have a tax liability on the hand she's leased.
Is she unmarried with one or more children? She could be eligible for Unmarried mother allowance.
Handy dockets.
However, as every landlord knows (and non-landlord seems oblivious to) there are a plethora or expenses involved in property ownership.
Money in, money out. Wax on, wax off!
