Hi there

Was advised today regarding an interview for disciplinary. in the job just over a year
I've never had an informal chat (Step 1) with my line manager
They've immediately gone to Step 2 - regarding absences from work which are unexplained - 20 mins in morning twice in last month
Also I adjusted my own clock despite never been informed i wasn't allowed. Its my job to adjust he clock!. Again no training and merely followed what my colleague did. Nothing in writing or verbally from them to say i couldn't in my role
So i'm being accussed of stealing time from them
Any advice?

Hi OP. It's important to document everything that has happened, everything that has NOT happened, e.g. Training, and any conversations you have had with any management about any relevant issues. Even one-sided accounts may be useful as aide memoirs for meetings. Good luck with it. Perhaps you might let us know how it goes?
