Hello
i an a director of a limited company providing professional services. i have just recieved outstanding fees which were originally requested last july. i am considering the option of paying myself and my one employee some of this money as 'backpay' for last year, and thus putting it into my P35 for 2008. the reason for doing this is that it would be the most tax efficient way of using this money, if my figures are correct....
can anyone give me some advice, or a link to somewhere which gives guidance, on the whole issue of backpay? is this even allowable?
many thanks
