Director - Lump Sum Salary 6 months

Company incorporated in January. Director A (sole shareholder) has received no salary yet but will be paid by company for 6 months work at the end of June. Salary will depend on how much money is available in the company bank account. Can he legitimately claim for 26 weeks PRSI stamps or should he be paying himself monthly instead?

It does not matter, I pay myself once annually for one of the business's I am involved with possibly similar to your Director A situation in that I base the gross amount on availability of funds in the business as he appears to be doing.

I would put it in at 26 weeks Class S.
