The Deferred Interest Scheme was announced last November 2010, here is the link http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/1117/arrears-business.html. In March PTSB can't find the link now announced this would be up and running by June of this year. I phoned my local branch, they said hadn't heard anything of yet, so I phoned head office in Dublin and was put through to customer service advisor in Open 24, the person who I was speaking to didn't even know what I was talking about which is pretty sad considering he works in a bank and is not up to speed on issues such as this. Apart from that still no information on when it will be rolled out. Would be grateful for any update if anyone has any news on this.
