Deferred annuities

Are deferred annuities available in Ireland?

If so, which providers and any indication of rates?

If not available in Ireland, can deferred annuities be purchased from an Irish pension fund with UK providers?

I am not aware of any deferred annuities being offered in Ireland.

I don't know if you can purchase one through the UK. If you are able, I would imagine that you would have to set up a self directed ARF and the ARF would purchase the deferred annuity. But that's only a guess, I really don't know if it can be done.
