Debt collector recommendation

We are owed a significant amount of money by a hardcore of customers who ignore requests to settle their accounts. In the past we have used a solicitor to recover debts but have found them slow, expensive and generally ineffective.

Can anyone recommend a good debt collection firm which might be a bit more expeditious about collecting debts?

nope - I know a guy that used them for a gentle reminder to a client - beauty of it is online facility and no wasted time visiting lawyers and such - can't vouch either way but maybe worth a call though!

In my own experience, if they are ignoring your calls & ignoring your solicitors letters, they're probably going to ignore the Debt Collectors too.

with things slowing down you will probably see a lot more of this unfotunately. i would guess they are probably under pressure themselvs,rather than just trying to avoid paying you....maybe meet them face to face and try to work something out.
