Hi

Has anyone installed a solid fuel buring stove in Cream?

Just wondering if it might be hard to keep clean etc?

[broken link removed]

would imagine that it would be hard to keep clean..... any soot, or smoke stain etc, would be busy cleaning every day

A stove is a working unit not an ornament.
Your burning fuel in it, which varies in levels of dirt.
Any stove gets dirty.
They are supposed to be dirty.
If the worry of constantly cleaning it is affecting your choice of colour - get a black one.
Cream is the worst colour for a stove if the apperance of it will bother you that much.

I suppose it's like wearing a cream shirt playing rugby.
p.s. I have a black one.

I thought about a cream one, but for all the reasons outlined above went for a black one. I love it, and thank those advisers every time I run a cloth over it and it comes away black as....well soot.

I have a green one. No obvious dirt. If I was choosing again I probably would get a cream one or a black one. Green is more or less banned in our house now.

My mother has a white / cream solid fuel range and it so much easier to keep clean than my black range.
