Corofin, Corrandulla or Claregalway Co Galway

We are living in Galway city currently,but now looking at purchasing a 4 bed detached house in Corofin, Corrandulla or Claregalway in the next few months.

Any suggestions re location ??
 
Hi All,
Viewed a fab 4 bed detached in Corofin (Off main Tuam - Galway road )today and are very interested in purchasing.

As we are new to Galway in general, I would appreciate any feedback from anyone currently residing in this area on the following

National Schools?
Sports clubs etc?
Social scene?

probably a bit late for you but......

Corofin is an area which is taking off as a sleeper village which is close to galway city. Socially , I think there is one pub ......so you'll get to know some faces, like it or not!
There are a couple of small country national schools - imo the best places to send kids are country national schools. For Secondary schools the kids will either have to get the bus to tuam (15mins) or galway (20-40mins depending on traffic)

Corofin has a decent GAA club and badminton is popular or so i believe.

Claregalway has a hotel so possibly a gym, and way better on the shop front, but its always choked with traffic and proposals for a bypass have been scrapped.

I really dont know to much about corrandulla!
