I have a bit more time for Fianna Gael after the performance of Enda K on Primetime on SUnday night. On the other hand Pat Rabbite is beginning to remind me of a petulant child and starting to annoy me.
However, for the past 15, or it might be 25 years, Fianna Fail, Fianna Gael and Labour have block voted for each other on the council and share the mayorship among themselves.
Now if they are to be seen to be any kind of opposition, they need to avoid that at all costs. Speaking for myself, were the Gael to go back into a pact with the Fails I wouldn't be arsed voting for them anymore at all....opposition at national level surely should start at local level...
