Hi

I have a colleague that has been contributing to RAC and to the company pension scheme for a number of years. Has he broken any rules in doing so?

I would have thought as long as he didnt violate the maximums for his age bracket he could contribute to RACs and a works pension (DC scheme)

Cheers

You may not contribute to an occupational pension scheme and a personal pension arrangement at the same time in relation to the same employment. However, you may make a personal pension arrangement in respect of earnings from another employment or from self-employment.

Thanks for that.
So now that he has been doing this for the last 9 years and is filling oout a form 12 for the 1st time since this came to light any suggestions on next steps?
