Contract is nearly up!

Hi gang can you advice me please,i have tenants who have always been behind with their rent,its now getting to the stage they are 6 weeks behind.The contract is up the 1st of next month .My question is am i entitled to give them the road as from day one they have continually broken the terms of the contract when it comes to paying of rent. If you log on to " Prtb - Terminating a tenancy " site, you will get the information you require, but if you allowed them to be continually late, with the rent, you will probably have to give them at least a couple of weeks notice. I hope this will help.
