Considering a move to Cong/Cross (7 miles outside Ballinrobe)

Its up to you what you want. Are youm looking for a bit of crack with an easy atmosphere - then Clonbur or around there. Otherwise its your call. I know the areas and speaking from experience - remember there is a life after work.

Have been keeping an eye on daft, myhome etc now for few months now and see what ye mean by houses not shifting. Think we'l move to Cong/Cross area and keep an eye out for a site for a future build. Hope prices stay as they are/drop a bit more til after Christmas for us!!
 
Just wanted to say sounds exciting and good luck having your dream house.Maybe a site and house build is still possible or certainly a good market to bargain at the moment with secondhand house
